Our new tagline, “Empower Tomorrow, Today.”, is a direct reflection of this renewed vision as we continue to grow and expand.
Throughout this process, there were many factors to consider, but we never lost focus on you, our valued members and surrounding community. Why the New Name & Look?
Palmetto Health and the Greenville Health System came together as one organization in 2017 to create Prisma Health, the largest healthcare organization in South Carolina. This development presented us with a unique opportunity to revisit our branding and core messaging so that it best resonates with our members.
Thus, Curis Financial Credit Union was born.
Why Curis?
In Latin, “Curis” translates to “care” or “help”. Since 1964, our commitment has been to care for the members of our community through steadfast and collaborative financial support. Our new name is a reflection of this commitment, highlighting both what we do and how we do it.
Our members are the lifeblood of our organization. During this process, member satisfaction remains the number one priority as it has for over sixty years. Your information, your identity, and our commitment to you remain steadfast.

All of your data is secure, protected, and won’t be altered in any way during the rebrand process.
Your Branch Locations
Every PHCU location will become a Curis Financial location over the next few months. We aren’t closing any physical locations.

The PHCU team you trust will still be serving you the best-in-class service you have come to expect.
